مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ أَكْلُ الْبَاقِلَّى يُمَخِّخُ السَّاقَيْنِ وَ يَزِيدُ فِي الدِّمَاغِ وَ يُوَلِّدُ الدَّمَ الطَّرِيَّ .

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Ahmad from Musa ibn Ja‘far from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan from ‘Umar ibn Salmah from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Eating broad beans grows bone marrows of the legs, adds in the brain and produces fresh blood.”’ 

عَنْهُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ أَكْلُ الْبَاقِلَّى يُمَخِّخُ السَّاقَيْنِ وَ يُوَلِّدُ الدَّمَ الطَّرِيَّ .

2. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said, ‘Eating broad beans grows the bone marrow of the legs and produces fresh blood.’” 

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ كُلُوا الْبَاقِلَّى بِقِشْرِهِ فَإِنَّهُ يَدْبُغُ الْمَعِدَةَ .

3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from certain persons of his people from Salih ibn ‘Uqbah who has said the following: “I once, heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘Eat broad beans with its peels. It cleanses (tans) the stomach.’” 

عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ اللُّوبِيَاءِ يَطْرُدُ الرِّيَاحَ الْمُسْتَبْطِنَةَ .

4. Ali ibn Muhammad from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn abu Najran from those whom he has mentioned who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Kidney beans dispel gases from the belly.’”
